2009 Season - Week 4
BUMS Players Hall of Fame
Thanks to David S and George who have already got their votes in for the 2009 Hall of Fame Player ballot. Since 2002 we’ve inducted 31 players and we are looking to put 4 more players into the Marbled Halls based on 3 criteria; scoring, impact and enjoyment provided.. Attached (again) are the 11 men who have been chosen for nomination. Select your favourite 5 players (in order) and get them back to me by Sunday October 18th , which is Trading Day 1. The 4 highest scorers will join the selected band of BUMS Hall of Fame players that includes Bill Cowher, Gary Anderson, Daunte Culpepper, Priest Holmes and Terrell Owens.
Now That’s What I Call BUMS Music
Thanks to Ron and George for adding more tracks to our Double CD featuring one song per NFL Franchise. We still need help naming 12 songs where the NFL city/state must be in the title. Email me missing songs for the following teams:- Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, Houston, Denver, San Diego, Dallas, Green Bay, Minnesota, Tampa Bay, Atlanta and Seattle.
Cheryl has big week 3
Despite their second round pick, kicker Matt Bryant, being cut by Tampa Bay just before the start of the season and not being signed by anyone else The Rhodesia Rams have risen to the top of the Conference. They were helped by Cheryl’s week 3 total of 51 which put her in the Scoring Hall of Fame for the fourth time and the first time since week 10 of 2007. Her highest ever score was 66 points in week 12 of 2004.
Trading Day 1
Cheryl may not be bothered about replacing her kicker but if she wants to, if Dave G wants to bench Plaxico Burress for eating too much porridge and if Chief wants to cut Tampa Bays third string quarterback they’ve only got one more week to suffer as Trading Day 1 is prior to week 6’s games at HQ from 4pm on Sunday 18th October.
BUMS on Seats.
On Sunday we will be at HQ for a top of the AFC North table battle between Cincinnati (3-1) @ Baltimore (3-1) followed by Atlanta (2-1) at San Francisco (3-1). The late Sunday Night Game sees ATC South opposites attract as Indianapolis (4-0) travel to Tennessee (0-4) which we will watch on Monday evening at Andy H’s in Perivale from 6:30pm. Let me know if you are coming as we are cooking.
